Kubota Make Their Mark at North Shropshire College
North Shropshire College, Walford Campus, have recently obtained the purchase of a new Kubota M7151 150hp tractor. Hughes Brothers Agricultural Engineers, Kubota Main Dealers in the North Shropshire and Mid/North Wales area have supplied the tractor and company partner and salesman, Richard Hughes delivered the machine the morning of Thursday 16th March to hand over the keys.
Kubota launched its new M7001 series tractor to the market in 2015. It is the highest powered tractor in the Kubota Agriculture range. This new higher horse power tractor which has been placed into the mainstream agricultural market with the ability and horse power to carry out the wide range of tasks from ploughing and cultivating to hauling trailers and feeding livestock.
The four-cylinder tractor has recently received the prestigious iF Design Award for 2017 which is one of the most recognised and important design awards in the world.
NSC Walford Farm Manager, Richard Aldis, was pleased to receive the new Kubota Tractor. Richard Hughes, Hughes Bros, commented “it will be great opportunity for the College and the students to work alongside Kubota and us here at Hughes Bros.”
The College have also purchased a Vicon GEOspread Fertiliser Spreader from Hughes Brothers, Oswestry. Matt Turner from Kverneland Group will be doing a tutorial to the students about the new spreader teaching them how the new technology works so that they can use it during their time there.
